Speech and Drama, or MHS Forensics, is a team of students who prepare various performance pieces and meet for tournaments throughout the school year. MHS Speech and Debate is an after-school, competitive speaking and acting team that travels and competes all year long.  Students can engage in research and critical argument of social issues in debate and extemporaneous speaking. The more creative elements of oration are expressed in literature interpretation, duet acting, or in monologue. 

Major Activities or Events: Competitive Speech/Debate tournaments; Acting competitions; Haunted House; Kabuki theatre; One-act play; Spring musical; Love Lines;
